Hale Defence + is a water-based matt emulsion paint for walls and ceilings. Available in any colour, with easy application and fast drying. Specifically developed to enhance the quality of our built environment. Reducing the spread of mould and pathogens where we live and work. It provides the painted surface with enhanced defence against mould, bacteria, and virus, preventing them from becoming engrained within our building fabric.

Short Description A highly durable matt emulsion with multiple hygiene benefits for walls and ceilings.
Drying time (recoat) 60 minutes
Drying time (touch dry) 30 minutes
Suitable surfaces Walls and ceilings; masonry, plaster and concrete
Coverage Up to 12m2/litre
Application Description (new surface) Repair any defects using a suitable filler and wipe down surfaces with a damp cloth to remove any residual dust. Apply one coat of Defence + diluted 3 parts paint with 1 part water.
Application Description The surface should be free from loose or flaking material. Existing glossy paint should be abraded, dusted down, and primed with one coat of Defence + diluted 3 parts paint with 1 part water.
Cleaning Clean equipment with PT212 (tap water can be used but may not be as effective). If equipment is normally used for applying solvent-borne material, it’s important to flush through with PT212 before and after spraying Defence +.
Storage Store in original container securely closed and in a dry, well-ventilated area away from sources of heat and ignition. PROTECT FROM FREEZING.
